Explore the stunning scenery of Western Australia’s popular Kimberley region. It is bordered on the west by the Indian ocean, on the north by the Timor Sea, and on the south by the Great Sandy and Tanami Deserts, and on the east by the Northern Territory.

Massive boab trees dotting the landscape, rugged mountain ranges and long, winding river will keep you mesmerized, and the variety of wildlife will keep your cameras clicking. Keep an eye out for crocs!

Day 1

After our flight to Kununurra we begin right away with a visit to the very interesting Zebra Rock Gallery where you can buy some of your very own zebra rock, and try their famous mango smoothie. Later we share drinks and nibbles with fellow passengers before dinner. (Dinner included)

Day 2

Today we travel along the Gibb River Road to Zebedee Hot Springs where we can enjoy a dip in the thermal springs. We continue into El Questro station and have lunch with our fellow passengers, then continue to Emma Gorge for an afternoon stop before heading back to Kununurra. (Breakfast included)

Day 3

You have the opportunity for an early morning flight over the Bungle Bungle Range and Lake Argyle (own expense). After breakfast we enjoy a lovely cruise up the Ord River to Lake Argyle, spotting crocodiles and birdlife along the way. At the dam wall we are met by our driver and taken to the lookout for stunning views of the lake and river. Overnight at Lake Argyle Resort. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 4

Sightseeing from the air this morning by helicopter for views over the Lake Argyle area and the Carr Boyd Ranges. We also visit the iconic Durack Homestead, and enjoy a cruise on the lake. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 5

We head to Warmun, formerly known as Turkey Creek, for morning tea, then continue on to the town of Halls Creek, our stop for the night. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 6

We start with a trip to historic Old Halls Creek, the site of the first gold discovery in WA, then visit the white quartz “China Wall”. Later we enjoy a stop at Mary River for afternoon tea before continuing to Fitzroy Crossing, our stop for the night. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 7

Today we travel to Tunnel Creek, made famous by the Aboriginal warrior Jandamarra. Tunnel Creek features a 750-metre tunnel which has worn through the Napier Range. We also visit the 3.5 km Windjana Gorge (spot the freshwater crocodiles)! (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 8

We continue on to Derby today and visit the famous Prison Tree. Derby is also known for its street lined with boab trees. We check out the historic jetty and continue on to Broome in time for our evening meal at Cable Beach as the sun goes down. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 9

A town tour of Broome, followed by time for shopping, and a quick visit to some surrounding areas before our flights home. (Breakfast included)
