Wildflowers of the Northern Wheatfields

Departing from East Perth, we travel via Toodyay for morning tea break then onto Wyalkatchem for lunch with optional visit to the Agricultural Museum. North to Koorda then via Kalannie to Dalwallinu, stopping along the way for walks among the flowers.

On to Rica Erickson Reserve for morning tea and then to Mount O’Brien reserve for more flowers. We enjoy lunch at Wongan Hills and in the afternoon we visit Reynoldson Reserve for another walk in the flowers. Later we return to Dalwallinu.

We travel north into the station and goldfields country. We search for a range of flowers including the beautiful Wreath Leschenaultia. In the afternoon we’re off to the station country to the wheatbelt towns of Morawa and Perenjori, returning again to Dalwallinu for the night.

This morning we head to Badgingarra for morning tea, then continue down Cockleshell Gully Road for a walk in the flowers. We’ll have lunch in the seaside town of Jurien Bay and one more wildflower stop at Nilgen Reserve before arriving back in Perth later in the afternoon. (B)
