Travel through classic outback territory with the highlight being Mt Augustus, one of the most spectacular monoclines in the world.

Day 1

We head north through the Swan Valley, Bindoon and Dalwallinu, spotting wildflowers along the way, then continue to Payne’s Find, Mount Magnet and Cue, our overnight stop. (Dinner included)

Day 2

On to Meekatharra then we take the dirt road to Mt Augustus, stopping at the Murchison River, known for the famous Landor racetrack. Next stop is Mt Gould, site one of WA’s oldest police stations. We continue to our accommodation at Mt Augustus Station, enjoying the changing beauty of Mt Augustus along the way. Dinner by campfire under the stars tonight. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 3

Today we explore Mt Augustus, the lovely Lyons River, and Cattle Pool, viewing amazing large river gums and Aboriginal art on the rock. Later we travel to our sunset viewing area for drinks and nibbles whilst watching the sun go down on Mt Augustus, followed by another campfire dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 4

We travel the Cobra-Dairy Creek Road to the Kennedy Range, crossing the Gascoyne River and continuing through amazing cliffs and rocky countryside. We also visit Temple Gorge and Honeycomb Gorge. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 5

Today we travel to Carnarvon, visiting the Quobba Blowholes, the Carnarvon lighthouse, jetty, the town and wharf area. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 6

We visit the tracking station (set up by NASA to support the Gemini and Apollo space programs), and the OTC Satellite Earth Station Carnarvon. Later we visit White Bluff Lookout, then continue to Kalbarria National Park via the Murchison River. We have stops at Hawks Head and Ross Graham Lookout to take in the scenic gorge views. (Breakfast & Dinner included)

Day 7

We visit Bluff Point to view the spectacular coastline, then a stop at the Lynton Convict Settlement site, Northampton and Geraldton to visit the HMAS Sydney memorial. We continue south, reaching Perth late afternoon. (Breakfast included)
