By popular demand, we've added three more tours to our calendar for next year - Two-Day Wave Rock in March; Adelaide to Darwin, the Explorers' Way in April, and a second Cape York/Thursday Island tour in August. We've found that going to Wave Rock is such a wonderful experience, that rather than rush it, we've decided to make it a two-day tour (Sat 02 and Sun 03 March 2024), staying for one night at the Hyden Hotel. This means we'll have more leisurely time to explore the rock as well as Mulka's Cave and Hippo's Yawn without having to rush back to the bus too early and without getting back to Perth so late. With a two-day experience you'll have more time for photos, "surfing the wave", visiting the gift shop and cafe and simply enjoying this spectacular part of Western Australia. The Adelaide to Darwin tour (Sun 07 to Sat 20 April 2024) follows in the footsteps of our early explorers, travelling from the capital city of South Australia, all the way up through the centre of Australia, finishing at the capital city of the Northern Territory. We will visit the unique opal town of Coober Pedy; the iconic Uluru and Kata Tjuta; Devil's Marbles; Katherine Gorge; the historic Daly Waters Pub, and more. This is classic Australian outback country with beautiful scenery, amazing history, and so much more. The Cape York and Thursday Island tour in 2023 was a sellout so Sharon has decided to put two Cape York tours on next year. The first one, in July, is already full, hence the second one which will run from Thu 01 to Tue 13 August 2024 and bookings are now open. If you missed out in 2023 or if this is a tour you’ve been hoping to do

We at Aussie Redback Tours are very excited to be adding Norfolk Island to our touring calendar at the end of next year. Norfolk Island is just off the east coast of Australia, and it abounds in history, nature and unique local culture. We have arranged a package which takes in the best of everything including local tours where we sample local produce, visit historical landmarks, and learn its remarkable history of Polynesians, convicts, and descendants of the Bounty mutineers. Norfolk Island is also famously known for the home to late author Colleen McCullough, and we will be including a guided tour of her amazing home which contains numerous priceless collections from around the world. Colleen made Norfolk Island her home in 1979 where she stayed until her passing in 2015. During her time on the Island, Colleen created a majestic home with her husband, Ric Robinson, and the home was never open to the public until her passing. This tour will run from Mon 02 to Mon 09 October 2023 and it's already filling up so if you've always wanted to visit this beautiful island, don't hesitate. Contact Aussie Redback Tours today to receive a full itinerary and reserve your spot. Email email@example.com or call 1300 662 026.

When you mention travel to the biggest rock in the world, most people automatically think of Uluru, but the biggest rock is in fact, Mt Augustus, and it’s right here in Western Australia! Mt Augustus is situated in the middle of the Gascoyne area of WA, and it rises 715 metres out of the surrounding plain. It is a magnificent sight and the 49 km drive around the rock reveals stunning rocky creeks, gorges, open plains, Aboriginal rock engravings and a whole variety of flora and fauna including white-barked river gums, mulga, gidgee, spinifex pigeons, crimson chats, mulga parrots, babblers, emus, wild turkeys, bungarras and red kangaroos. It’s quite an underrated destination and yet when you read reviews on Trip Advisor about this place you’ll notice that anyone who has visited the Rock has nothing but glowing reports about it. Words like “beautiful red colours”, “amazing walks”, “well worth the visit”, “loved the remoteness”, “truly something I will never forget” and so on…. Aussie Redback Tours has travelled to Mt Augustus several times and we are never disappointed. The colours are stunning – red earth, bright blue sky, campfires under star-filled skies at night – and the flora and fauna in the area is so unique and beautiful. The silence and remoteness is awe-inspiring. Aussie Redback Tours will be travelling to Mt Augustus again this year - on the Mt Augustus / Walga Rock tour from 14 to 18 August (just two seats left) and then the Mt Augustus / Karijini tour from 11 to 20 September. This tour includes the very popular Karijini National Park with its spectacular gorges, creeks and chasms. This is a spring tour, making it a great time to see wildflowers along the way and back again. With good winter rains, the scenery can be
